You know it’s good when you don’t even bat an eye at the fact that you use blood as the primary currency for crafting everything from bullets to Molotovs to healing items, and for some reason researching blood unlocks new recipes for bullets.

Resident Evil doesn't get enough credit for its (usually) immaculate progression systems. RE9 is no exception. One of the best to ever do it.
