It screened at film festivals in New York (HBO!), in Santa Fe, in San Francisco, San Jose, and won several awards

I'm 39 now, and the US is still fighting the idea that climate change doesn't exist

I've spent decades making games, gave the Flash Games Postmortem (and the second one!) at GDC, ran Armor Games, was part of your Youth Voices program, and did your roundtables (for free!) <3

Participated in the Adobe Youth Voices program in my late teens. Screened an animation I made in Flash in their offices in San Jose

Sat in roundtables in my early 20's for Adobe, helping them shape the applications they made

To their previous care, they ruled. Today, they just don't care

The whole thing is weirdly insulting and convoluted

"access to your Animate files and project data will end" is such a strange way to say, "We're shutting down Animate"

"we encourage you to export" lists formats that don't preserve the products we made

Used/paid for Flash/Animate for 24 years :(

incredibly sad. I also won't hold my breath given how they handled the Flash plugin

remember when Adobe Creative Cloud used to offer like 4-5 old download versions of Flash (and other Apps), and what a benefit that was? Being able to access old FLAs and source code, the dream!

And then they took it all away and told us we could be legally threatened if we kept them installed?
