I’m not saying I’d stop working if I won the lottery but I deffo would not have a full time job

I do not derive my sense of self from paid labor, I’m stressed about being unemployed because financial independence is deeply important to me. It is very weird to interact with people who have endless access to money but need a job to feel like a person.

Something I have realized as an adult is that there’s being unemployed and there’s not having money and a surprising number of people in the former category are not in the latter category and for them unemployment is primarily a crisis of identity and honestly: cannot relate.

Granted this is probably mostly a problem for me personally, but we all know I’m the main character in this timeline so
