the best part about being home from dpg is I have slept longer than 6 hrs finally and I can drink coffee on my meds break and now surely I will remember my t shot this time right

At CB2024 we hosted Extra Life 4 Kids & Lurie’s Children’s Hospital to help them fundraise. Today I received a stick painted by one of Lurie’s kids to thank us for hosting their best performing convention table! I’m so proud of our community’s generosity.

Fighting game events don't inherently skew left, but fighting game events that maintain mask and vax policies, feed each other, and aggressively ban xenophobes are a good starting point for cultivating the duty of mutual care among each other. And once that duty is internalized, it's easy to spread.

The primary impetus for my FGC organizing work came from reading a bunch of books about combating fascism immediately after 2016; the main takeaway I found was that building community, and articulating politics through building community, was a necessary step to resisting malignant politics.

If you are a trans person or person worried about abortion restrictions who needs help with temporary housing, job hunting, moving logistics, etc, hit me up. I don’t have a lot to offer besides experience and a spare small room but that’s what I can do to help right now.
