that said, they’re one of the few places I’ve found that I can buy clothes that fit me now that I’ve gained a bunch of weight, AND they’re consistently made of natural fibers only. LL Bean is still based.

Ground-level support was a good way to develop a generalist set of skills but it wasn’t until I landed in leadership positions that I had a clear need and incentive to really understand how all the various parts of the business function.
i gotta find the right career that lets me basically be a professional dabbler. customer support is pretty close! get to be in the mix of lots of things, especially in product-led saas companies.

The other thing I’ve done a lot of for my own back/foot issues is a stretch routine to start and end my days. It’s been consistently helpful to keep all my stabilizer muscles in good shape. If you can muster it some simple core workouts might also do wonders (1 min of planks/leg lifts twice daily).
The best advice I can give here is find shoes that promote standing more on the balls of your feet and not locking your knees. Insoles can help a lot with this but it can be tough to find the exact right ones.
