I did 23andMe a long time again (before it was cool) and when I did I did it assuming that despite all the promises the data was going to be essentially ‘public’… which it kinda now might be 😬

I make a lot of TOC images and I’m always amused (ironically) but how many journals have a specific no humour or joke policy. Nice to know someone is keeping enjoyment of science in check ;)

I use props (taking a drink or writing in my notes) to force a slight pause before I answer which gives me time to think about questions carefully. It’s not perfect but it slows me down which I find helps

Making a start on the winners cartoons for #RSCPoster. I started on one this morning which has led me into a hour long rabbit hole becasue it was interesting… these cartoons are never getting drawn

Been a super busy start to the year but today I’ve carved out a whole day specifically to doing some sensor platform building… this means I get to spend the day watching a small update bat progress on my raspberry pi, woo

I think we’ve finally found a route to getting ErrantScience and proper archive for my cartoons… maybe

Yeah I have thought about that, a looooong time ago I ran Parallels and did that but it was fiddly back then and never quite worked

I resolved it by moving all my python projects to one version of python and sticking ;)
