Bruce Campbell is a king and I wish him all the best. Cancer sucks and it happens to the best of us. He deserves a long and full life.

Here's a slightly larger version of my Speedy illustration! Shows off the line work and textures a little better.
Thanks so much, Deven!
Wow this version is tiny, I'll have to upload a bigger version later.
I need to do more Samurai Pizza Cats art. I did this last year and had a ball.
My wife and I played Resident Evil: Requiem for 14 hours straight.
One of the best games in the franchise. Well done Capcom.
I was legit mad. It starts off awful but entertaining for about 15 minutes before immediately plummeting off a cliff into unrecognizable and irredeemable rage bait.
Return to Silent Hill might just be the worst movie I've ever seen. If not the worst, then easily the most offensive.
I've never seen a movie miss the point so much. It fails on almost every level, spectacularly.
You know what? Maybe human instrumentality is what 2026 really needs.
Some days it just feels like we took the train train to the bottom again.
Picked up Ithya: Magic Studies since it's an incredibly relaxing soundtrack and the art is wonderful. Interactive/Idle game that's proving to be a great game/soundtrack to do art to.
Also picked up Spirit City: Lofi Sessions, though I've yet to play it.
Working on this book has been an absolute blast. Very appreciative of getting to help out!

I definitely learn from my mistakes and I remain ambitious, but I'm not gonna beat myself up over it. I used to do that and it just left me unhappy and feeling inadequate as an artist and it's just the wrong mindset to have.
I no longer strive to be "as good" as those around me. I just color in a way that makes me happy and I improve as I go and that's really it. Ironically I think it's helped me because I'm not trying to imitate nor am I overly critical or negative about it.
When I first started coloring, I used to worry about not being perfect. Since then, I realize that most of the time I'm just smacking my digital canvas with my pen and hoping my colorblind ass figures it out and I'm all the happier for it.
I work in comics for two reasons: to fulfill my creative needs, and to make other people smile.
I earn very little for my work, and I'm not a comics celebrity. But I'm fine with that. Every issue I work on brings - I'd like to hope - a little bit of joy in the world.
It's hard asking people to read a comic or look at art in the middle of some historically bad shit happening nationally and globally, but I think it's important to find some happiness or positivity where you can.
Comics are gateways to adventure and whimsy, and sometimes that's just what you need.
1439 indie titles and TTRPGs for 10 bucks. All earnings go to the Immigrant Law Center of Minnesota.
Help them reach their $100K goal!
The only concert I've ever been to was The Pillows when they came to Seattle. It was absolutely solid.
I'm glad I got out of the habit of apologizing for not getting art done. it's freeing when you break free of the social media grindset.
I love doing art, but the moment it becomes an obligation is the moment I want to stop doing it.
Some human on this planet lived their life and accrued enough experience and gained a voice to share a glimpse of it with the world. The totality of some small part of your existence made manifest.
Beautiful.
Don't seek perfectionism in your art, whatever your medium. The world doesn't need it, and it doesn't exist anyway. What it needs is your voice. Raw, genuine, and sincere.
You may think you're putting a flawed product into the world but what it's actually getting is something beautifully human.
Some of my favorite music comes from small indie bands that are around for a couple years and then disappear for a decade. Just a few humans making fun, unpretentious music and then moving on with their lives before resurfacing out of nowhere.
Know any like that?

Here's a thread of some of my Sonic OVA art.
This was the first piece I tackled. I like how I rendered the ice here. I'm a big fan of shimmeries and glowies.
I'd change up how I render Metal if I was to redraw it, add some color to him, but works well enough.
Breaking my social media hiatus for a little bit to spread good music and art vibes because sometimes (all times) you need it in your life.
You can't doom scroll every day.
