Texas has declared that they will not be reporting data from the first 2 years after their abortion ban went into place. Georgia and Idaho have fired their maternal mortality boards. I also have yet to see any reports regarding the ever growing Maternity deserts
Cartoon by singer sarcastically showing that people wrongly perceive car dependent infrastructure as “public investment” (it isn’t) and investment in public transit as a “wasteful subsidy” (it isn’t, it has an excellent return on investment and actually saves public money).
"Public investment" vs "Wasteful Subsidy." The only problem with this clever Singer cartoon is that some people might actually not get that it’s sarcastically illustrating the perception problem, NOT telling the truth. Just in case it actually needs to be said, the truth is the opposite.

Inspiring happy-dances always makes my day.
So sorry. I always cared for my patients, and have many still in my heart, but to watch a loved one go through it is a different experience. Just being as heartbroken as I was helping them, I can only imagine how painful it was for you.
With my work in GYNOC, I do always want to establish that. I did use my experience to help them with little hacks here or there, but again, I endured far, far less than they did. I am truly sorry for your loss.
To clarify, it wasn’t cancer, I had stage 4 endometriosis, that caused complications that were killing me…in a similar manner to those with ovarian cancers, but I also work in GYNONC, so have helped and seen first hand what those patients endure, and I was far luckier then any of them
