I remember your initial posts after the redundancy and felt for your situation. Very inspirational to see how far you’ve come in a short amount of time without sugar coating the hard parts!
On a total side note though, I’ve been writing some Elixir for a side project and I’ve done about one tenth the time compared to Rust and have about 10x the tangible output 😅
After consuming about 20 hours of Rust content and producing thrice as many hours writing, I finally feel like I’m starting to make some progress in Rustland.
How some of these streamers have such impressively strong knowledge on some of these concepts is super impressive.
Crust of Rust is so good, but I’ve also never committed to 30 hours of deep dives into content that requires so much focus.
Haven’t felt so much brain melt since I first dived into programming with Objective-C a decade ago. Took me over an hour to build a basic DFS with Rc and RefCell 🥹
