This ‘crowdsourced artwork’ is the best. The Bob Dylan one, I actually laughed out loud at. And the Low one is very clever. The Princess Superstar one is clearly the work of a very talented artist.

Day 38
Charli XCX - Boom Clap (UK 2014 single)
An excellent pop song about fancying someone. Suppose she had to prove she could ‘do’ the formula before messing around with it.
Post a photo of a great musician
Yeah, statistically one of them HAS to be least-streamed. Harsh.
Last time we were in Valencia we were kept awake by a club on the marina blasting reggaeton until 4am. It can be a very noisy place.
Yeah, I think it’s one of his best ever vocal performances. A ‘real’ thing for a change. That might not be what people go to Station To Station for though.
‘The difference between you and me is that the world owes you a living’
Edwyn the pop star. Where he should be.
Word On A Wing might be in my top five Bowie tracks. But what an album.
Oh yeah, they were superb second and third time around. But you’re right - that was a generation ago.

Day 37
Sleigh Bells - Rill Rill (US 2010 single)
Gloriously pretty. You can tell they are intellectual because it was the third single from the album. That means they ‘thought about it’. Must be stressful.
Too soon for Clive Myrie? Yup, thought so.
And it came between No Country and A Serious Man. Perfectly timed.
I think that attitude is what they were taking the piss out of with Burn After Reading. A deliberately pointless comedy about a pointless event.
Oh, and earliest childhood memory of Indian takeaways is those bowls of candy-covered fennel seeds on the counter. Oh my.
Kind of related. I really like dipping hot-cross buns into Heinz tomato soup. It feels North African in a very English way.
Totally over-the-top. Ace.
That hat crops up in a video as well?
‘We disagree with British people’ is a really odd stand for a British political party.
It was Steve Lamacq era, of course.
Lordy, they did like their grebo and fraggle at the NME.

Day 36
Radiohead - Burn The Witch (UK 2016 single)
It had all got ‘a bit 1939’ some time earlier, but 2016 was the year one of the world’s biggest bands wrote a nursery rhyme about rounding up people and killing them.
Not that one. 3. Which I don’t think I’ve ever seen. Also, Puss In Boots.
This is the Guillermo Del Torro one? Or was that 3? Off to Google… he was producer on one of them.
I’m fine. I enjoy the whole ‘cancelled’ process.
Oh, and a prominent hand. Right. Here goes…
Bloody hell. Cleavage :)
Go on then. Can I do one please?
I think it might have been Richard Osman talking about his audience over-lapping with true-crime listeners.
