like i said this when the US attacked venezuela. we are hurdling back into an extremely violent world, one which hasn't really existed since the 1700s and which nobody since hitler has really tried to enact. and it's entirely on trump's hands
Telling Jesus he'll never make it if he keeps being so hostile to wealth. Advising him to moderate his message to appeal to the Galilee suburbs

BREAKING: Trump fires Noem. Replacing her Mullin.
Story still developing.
It is always fascinating to me when people donβt seem to realize how far off the deep end we are.
Grammarly's presentation of something they call Expert Review, including my name (plus Stephen King's, plus Mary Norris's), though to be sure I've never been contacted by Grammarly, much less compensated.
What in the absolute fuck is this.
Well if this ain't just the 10th amendment fact pattern from hell. I don't see how the federal government can require a state to continue permitting someone to practice before its own courts consistent with the principle of divided sovereignty. public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2026-04390.p...
When we talk about Baby Boomers not getting off the stage: In 1997, the US president was born in 1946.
In 2007, the US president was born in 1946.
In 2017, the US president was born in 1946.
And next year in 2027? The US president will have been born in 1946.
A tweet from Eleanor Klibanoff saying, "The Texas Supreme Court has temporarily BLOCKED a Dallas judgeβs order to keep the polls open til 9, ordering the county to separate out votes from people who were not in line at 7pm. Not a final ruling, but will create chaos in getting results from Dallas County"
Wow. If any races in Dallas County are super tight, this will be a huge legal fight as thousands of votes hang in purgatory.
Tweet by Igor Bobic "Fetterman responds to Graham Platner saying he should lose his seat: βOh, really? The guy with the Nazi tattoo? Yeah, I'm devastated by that.β "
this is what awaits us if we fail to crush Platner in the primary, "oh the party of Nazi Tattoos has something to say?" every time forever
fuck, Iβm sorry, I canβt compete with this
transcript of a NYT podcast ad: This is A.G. Sulzberger. Iβm the publisher of The New York Times. I oversee our news operations and our business. But Iβm also a former reporter who has watched with a lot of alarm as our profession has shrunk and shrunk in recent years. Normally, in these ads, we talk about the importance of subscribing to the Times. Iβm here today with a different message. Iβm encouraging you to support any news organization thatβs dedicated to original reporting. If thatβs your local newspaper, terrific β local newspapers in particular need your support. If thatβs another national newspaper, thatβs great too.
the publisher of the new york times wants you to subscribe to the handbasket

After mentioning four dead US servicemen Trump starts talking about his ballroom.
In a competitive field, this may be one of the most offensive things he has ever done.
you know, this is why you should not elect people who have never once learned anything about anything
βI moved my Hedge Fund from Denver and New York (they are woke, no Hustle Grindset) to the Strait of Hormuz, the Korean DMZ, Quemoy and Matsu, Kherson, The Suwalki Gap, and a WeWork managed by the Salamanca Family in MichoacΓ‘n. I tell clients I am an expert risk manager.β
I saw this and at first thought "no, there's no way 'we definitely had alternative leadership in mind for Iran but I blew them up alongside the schoolgirls using AI' is what the White House is actually saying, that's too clueless and evil to be real"

Katie Miller @KatieMiller In times of split second decision making by our nationβs top leaders β itβs clear which AI our military should be using. Truth-seeking is @grok βs best feature.
Grok answer yes, ChatGPT no, Gemini gives mushy "valid arguments on both sides," Claude refuses to take a side in "an ongoing political debate."
Notable how all four LLMs failed to provide a useful answer, much less an expert-level one. They didn't even provide info to help the user. Grok & ChatGPT wrongly accepted the simplified yes/no framing. Gemini gave a mushy both-sides. Claude refused to discuss "politics."
These are toys, not tools.
The plan would mandate voter ID and ban mail-in balloting, and calls on Trump to issue an executive order announcing both measures. trib.al/l91h3NT
This part right here, is very important for everyone to understand
βWar is back in vogue and a zeal for war is spreading. The principle established after the Second World War, which prohibited nations from using force to violate the borders of others, has been completely undermined.β - Pope Leo

I met a girl in a bar once who had a vaguely British accent
Me: Where are you from?
Her: Jersey
Me: I doubt it
Her: Why?
Me: Your accent
Her: *glares*
three days later...
Me: Oh I'm an IDIOT
