Fuck it, adding AI is a tool, not a staff member. Yall gonna have to read that everytime I make a post.
Those of us who know what we're doing know what this is. We understand that Machine Learning has its place, that we can use it to optimize. But to this day, Technical Artists, and anyone in Engineering have proven - hiring us will solidify you protection. Random AI will not.
And for those of you who are thinking, maybe this is a tool that can actually assist. It is an LLM, a Language Learning Model, with 35-65% hallucination rate (. Would you really trust a human with that error rate?

Today is Sex Worker's Rights Day. Sex worker rights are human rights not just because we're humans just like you, but also any rights taken from us will be taken from you too.
Surveillance, police violence, debanking, censorship, we faced all of those for years before it turned on everyone else.
This is the downfall of the free to play model, no one wants to purchase in-game assets anymore, I dont know how you can have 97,000+ concurrent players and NOT make enough to sustain server costs.
What even is this.
Love that the industry I work in spends 4 years on a product to kill it literally a month after release.

Just opened #silenthillf and I'm so excited - but dear god. Anyone in #gamedev - DO NOT use filters to change colors and add accessibility, change _only_ gameplay colors specifically.
CVD Filters do not work, and break the experience. Grass becomes orange etc. We want to experience the vision too.
Very annoyed, its 2025 and we have no way to delete our accounts in one central location - or a standard, single source to cancel my god damn Subs. I waste like 20 minutes a day trying to cancel subs to Netflix, Disney or whatever, it's wild.
Like as a Tech Artist, I want to optimize this time.
