I'm glad that the Chicago game industry is starting to get a slight resurgence. Back in the day there were loads of devs through the Chicagoland area. I had to remind someone that Bungie started in Chicago.

They had such a distinctive vibe. Played a lot of the first few levels of each back in the day, but I always returned to DOOM and Dark Forces over it. Have since beaten both though and they're brilliant.
