Caricature illustrations of the 1960s and 2020s Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 side by side, in side profile, front and rear views. The new one is angrier and much bigger. The old one is smaller, cuter, and is the most essentially beautiful car in the world. They’re both red. These were done in procreate while stuck in a hotel room in 2023.

Remember the Alfa 33? Not that one. The other one. Not that one either. Are you sure you know what— yeah that 33. No, I mean, it is, but there was an older one. They’re both called 33. It’s a long stor…well it’s kind of a short story.

On International Women’s Day it’s great to remember that Grunya Sukhareva identified Autism before Kenner (100 years ago), identified that Autism presented regardless of sex, and that it is a spectrum.

If your kid is interested in drawing the best thing you can do is give them lots of paper and drawing tools, different kinds, don't be precious about it, nothing fancy or expensive (that comes later), now is the time to experiment and not be worried about wasting pages in a fancy Sketchbook.
