Oh nice! I’ve worked in a million industries now. My favorite so far has been mobility, I think! (Esp in terms of HCI problems)

Regarding coaching: the number one thing I’ve been working on with my clients, in a single word— confidence.

I hate using the term “life coach” because it implies a grift (to me). As my first client said, “you’re like an honest hype man!”

I’m still getting used to the feeling of your clients’ boss’ boss’ boss bothering to reply back to a DM you sent on LinkedIn, but I’m liking the brand I’m creating. I like being impactful.

Biz-wise: I run my own freelance user research business and do career coaching whenever time allows.

I helped 6/6 PhD grad -> Sr. Researcher clients (all women, too) receive offers and full time employment in UXR, despite an awful year for our industry in 2024.
