Another sick day, another opportunity to have a texting date ✨ Thoroughly enjoyed being kept company yesterday by a sweet one. Maybe today *you* can keep me entertained 😇

I woke up sick, two days before I was supposed to go to Portland to help a dear one recover from surgery. I'm heartbroken that I probably need to cancel my flight and that I'm stuck in the house during this beautiful sun. I guess it's soup time for ol' Simone :(

Yeah I like that part! I think going forward I'm going to be paywalling pretty much everything except tour dates/announcements.

Kind of same, honestly. I've been goofing around in the internet SW world since I was 18, and on/off danced/sugared for a while. But 6 year since official launch!

I just never know what might translate in the future. On Substack, I feel that having a higher number of visible subscribers unconsciously signals more people to follow, so that alone might be boosting me in a small way. People pay for subscriptions, gifts, restack, comment, all of it brings traffic

January is my 6th anniversary in the industry. It's been a strange couple of years as I've been transitioning into another career, and I'm not sure how I feel about my future here.

I remember from living there :( Part of why I knew I couldn't live there long term. Although some neighborhoods are more walkable if you're lucky enough to live there — downtown Decatur/Oakhurst, Inman Park, Reynoldstown. But the amount of driving truly sucked my soul

I love being walking-pilled and knowing-your-neighors-pilled. I walk to my gym, I run into my friends there. I go to the coffeeshop after where my friend works and get a free cappuccino. I stop at the grocery store on the way home and banter with the cashier. I pick up gifts at my PO box. Walking!!
