"Programmers" who like to boast about how "most of my code is actually done by an LLM" should get "most of their paycheck" cut, that way they are getting paid for what they are ACTUALLY producing...
I have massive respect for people who do genuinely enjoy spending hours replaying parts of games trying to find the most effective ways to complete it but speedrunning is just not a thing everyone enjoys and it should not be forced upon people who simply just want to 100% your game.
Maybe a shit take but can games stop trying to incentivise speedrunning? Think less of a game when I see it has achievements/rewards for effectively replaying over and over trying to shave off 5 more seconds to get sub 30 mins :/
Its not fun, just makes me hate the game after completing it...

Finally got one of those vertical mice for my puter, honestly I get it now my wrist is in so much less pain than usual.
Only downside is I sometimes go to grab it like a usual mouse out of muscle memory and end up smacking it across my desk, sure ill get used to it tho :p

Its still a stupid idea, rolling it out globally shows Discord are not really against the idea of age verified internet access. Where the rest of us are fighting for freedom, Discord very much are being complaisant with the governments trying to push these awful laws...
I dont agree with Discord's new global age verification system, but considering more countries are starting to implement similar laws to the online safety act, I can kinda see why they are doing this weirdly enough... easier to roll it out globally now than each country when it passes its own law ig

If ya ever have imposter syndrome with programming, I find a good solution is to go on GitHub and look at some of the "vibe coded" projects that exist on there, makes ya feel way better knowing you make better code than those supposed "high end smart LLMs"
