I called this out 10 months ago.
Thinking is a metaphor for "it passed from my eyes/ears to my mouth/fingers". We lack a word for it. It's kinda what plants and mushrooms do, but dumber.

I think 1 is the best to maintain the hierarchy more clear. 2 is cute gimmick. 3 makes the parent/child relationship a bit too soft, maybe if there's a bit more padding?
