I feel the same—angry but trapped. A client asked me about going back to Desktop and I had to tell them Intuit is killing that product so it isn’t an option.
I wouldn’t mind paying for a product that functions well. It’s the marketing to steal clients, sales pitches for unnecessary features, etc.
How many clients of yours are moving out of the US this year? My count so far is two confirmed, two potential.

doesn’t eliminate the Federal penalties that will be assessed on those individuals for not ensuring the taxes are actually paid to the Federal government.
Those penalties are severe & the Feds aren’t going to just ignore their legal right to collect the money/penalize the bookkeepers, owners, etc.

The responsibility for remitting the taxes withheld from employee wages rests with the bookkeeper, company owner, payroll company, etc.
