What is going on with the TikTok trends of dudes claiming to be training to be the starting <soccer position> for the US men’s national World Cup team? Like what’s the goal?

I should add a disclaimer that I do not work for a Vancouver company, I work out of Austin. I get emails from local companies that make me throw up in my mouth a little, I want to advocate for the upcoming generation of super stars, Vancouver is not treating its tech talent well.

Stop comparing salaries to “market” - let’s look remote and compare Seattle, Austin, Miami, Denver.

We’re being played. If you’re not being paid similar demand more or move to a remote role that will.

I’ve developed a pretty great flow, requires lots of planning and exploration but once you get going, it’s pretty incredible. I have multiple projects live in production.

IMO it’s terrible with JavaScript based things and much better with Go, Swift etc. It is also incredible at devops
