Amen, this is something I knew previously but had to relearn to internalise better this year 💯
That ties well with we all have our own timelines too - it's mostly more constructive to compare with our past selves than with others!

Can't count the number of times where I have to keep pressing Escape to discard Copilot's bad suggestions as opposed to Cursor's, where each tends to get better with more usage against the codebase. GitHub/MS got some serious work to do...
I wanted to give GitHub Copilot a chance again, but damn it's like having a bad junior dev compared to Cursor. The difference with its auto complete capabilities is night and day

A good take especially our work/world generally is already obsessed with optimising the hell out of things (usually for more money 🙄). It's nice to be able to do things for the joy of doing it!
