I’m building on ATProto because I didn’t feel like waiting for a bunch of white men to help us so I’m doing it myself.

Talked to someone yday about how it’d be cool to build an atproto app that lets people who are caregivers of kids with autism connect through a platform that provides clinical resources but also provides a shared community experience. Having a version of this for people on HRT would be incredible.

imo the threat posed by CBS News and CNN getting absorbed by pro-regime billionaires isn't that they're going to produce right-wing slop that convinces people to be right-wing, it's the dismantling of newsrooms capable of doing investigative reporting on the administration. Fewer eyes on the street.

When students were occupying universities during the Gaza Protests I watched algorithms on X and Instagram blackball my colleagues.

I also saw that there was a chance for something different on ATproto.
