I love cormorants. My favourite waterfowl.
I love cormorants. My favourite waterfowl.
They're adorable.
I found the gender swapping from the original quite interesting too.
Itβs superb! Absolutely loved it last year.
Nice. Iβve got that edition of the Greek Myths β₯οΈ
Gorgeous use of lighting π€
Such a beautiful shot β₯οΈ
Best use for a ring light ππ½
A good day is built upon a solid routine.
I absolutely adore my copy of Wuthering Heights. Thereβs something about reading a book that my father once read quite a few years before I was born. π
Something which always rankles me is when a history book or item of information states that a certain period was a time of βgreat prosperityβ for an area.
What it overlooks is that it was a time of great wealth-gathering for a select few when the masses lived in abject poverty and squalorβ¦π
No, Grammarly. My main character will definitely be βblobbing outβ not βwatchingβ trash on the television.
So, now Iβm about a third of the way through Sam Spallucci: Dance of Death, itβs a good time to have a deep reread of what Iβve written so far to ensure it makes sense.
I always find this makes later editing so much easier.
I always find the whole Lilith thing quite fascinating. It's interesting to see how someone has tried to make the two creation accounts match. I can't help but wonder if there were other Lilith myths kicking around beforehand that were lost. In the "on top" story, she already feels fully formed.
I love it when a scene just comes together nicely. I sat down this afternoon to bash out some dialogue between my paranormal investigator, Sam Spallucci, and a suspect in a murder, not knowing what the Dickens I should do. Then I saw the look on the suspectβs face and the dialogue flowed naturally.
Beautiful work. Nowhere to hide.
Beautiful. I never tire of a full moon.
The glorious Tower Bridge from my recent visit to London, this time rocking a noir vibe...
A tired but happy walker waiting for the bus home π
Iβve just had a cracking few days up in the lakes. Lots of walking; quite a bit of chilling. A bath will be required tonight!
A lot of person in a neat little package π
The texture of her hair made me think this was a painting at first. Great effect.
Marvellous outfit!
Fabulous! I bet you had a wonderfully weird time.
Okay, so hereβs a weird questionβ¦
Has anyone reading this bought a shed load of my books this month? Loads of my titles seem to have sold in pairs.
Hands up if it was you so I can send you a virtual hug β₯οΈ

The spicy one was bought for me and the bibliophile was from a small stationer's in Lancaster.π
Jealous of the Brian Aldiss. I read one of his short story collections over Christmas and now need to acquire more of his work.
Looks gorgeous. I love a canal walk. Lancaster Canal is my go to.
Good news, everyone!
I've just updated my website with details about forthcoming signings at Carlisle, Morecambe and Blackpool!
