Games, similarly, I'd seek out indie game dev groups and join. This is generally less location-specific than film can be.

Ugh... in 2025

It's a bit odd! Dark icons didn't sit right with me at first, but the less-than-black background reduced the effect. I decided I'd live with it for a few days to see if I like it. Part of the disturbance is not recognising the app icons immediately, but maybe I'll get used to it...

Press and hold on the part of the screen where there's no icon. Icons all get a "-" and start jiggling. "Edit" on the upper left and select "Customise".

I agree it’s strange not being able to flip the icons back in dark mode. Best I could do was leave them dark but cause the desktop to not be black by tapping the little sun icon on the upper left.

I may not have been paying as much attention in times before BlueSky, but Production Expert seems to be posting good (and not too long) articles lately!

I waited until just yesterday to update from 17. I like dark options for app icons and added text effects for iMessage but expected a bit more.

We still referred to them that way well into PS3 dev days, as far as I can remember.
