I of course am talking with nostalgia glasses on, but the immersion in GW1 comes not so much from the (main) story for me, but more so from side quests and exploring the world. Going out into this world and seeing the sights, along with the incredible music really does it for me
How far in are you? I felt somewhat the same in the first few hours, but once I got past the first proper area and got to explore some more, and I got my head around the combat some more, it really clicked for me. Now I'm absolutely loving it

Turning 30 is actually not bad because you actually spiritually turn 30 at age 27. By the time you hit 30, you've already been 30 for three years.
Chapters 1 and 2 have been pretty great so far! It's no Undertale, but it's also not fully released yet ofc.
The gameplay got a nice shake-up, and Toby is once again messing with some wack meta shit here and there.
