this is what it feels like to post on bluesky
Haha! Iβm certain thereβs a terminal entry from Infinity that could be made to match up! Sadly, I just meant βIβd rather do unfun things related to the original gamesβ.
Much rather frog blast the vent core.
Honestly, the game just isnβt for meβ¦ but Iβd rather play βColony Ship For Sale, Cheapβ a dozen times than more Marathon (2026). Iβd rather punch a Wβrkncacnter in the snoot.
Oh no, kitty! Hope she feeling better soon!
Probably best not to huff your cat. Hope youβre feeling better soon!
I think about this Tony Benn speech much more than I used to
I dig it
I was happy to see it had its own Wikipedia page, at least: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cool_S
I really hope they look that nice! I don't really need one, but a lower-cost entry level MacBook would be a really fun device for most folks, I'd guess. My day-one M1 MacBook Air is still going surprisingly strong, and I'd expect these things to be faster than it.
Had some great support from @iconfactory.com on a very weird issue. It reminded me that I really love their work, and especially the Wallaroo wallpaper app. It's fun to get new wallpapers from legit artists every week!
This sort of math is about using logic to prove that some complex set of factors is the case. Writing an accepted proof pushes the field of math forward. Theyβre more like an airtight legal argument than fancy arithmetic. Hereβs an answer from the paper: github.com/google-deepm...
Maybe Clint Basinger from LGR? Or someone from Sorted Food (Ben maybe?) Also, just wanted to say that you're knocking it out of the park with this show. It always brightens my day when a new episode arrives!

Ugh⦠that sounds about right and it makes me so sad.
I had to look and remind myself that, yeah, this isn't even the first time this has happened to Discord. It's almost like having a large collection of people's super-sensitive data is irresistible to hackers!

I don't know anything about Asha Sharma, but I'm not enthused that the "president of CoreAI product" is replacing someone who seemed to actually care about gaming.
Sadly, this could also be labelled "Halifax" π
I don't run a newsletter, but I've heard good things about Buttondown from some folks who switched to it.
Certainly got my attention! Why does the knob only have four positions? Do the indicators lit up? How close does it feel to an F1 steering wheel? So many questions!
I'm looking forward to finally showing off what @benricem.bsky.social and I have been working on for, like, 1.5 years. Butterflies and elephants, together at last. π β€οΈ
over a year ago, i gave a talk at the xoxo conference about a mural, a mcdonaldβs, and a man. (but it was also secretly about life, and legacy, and meaning.)
finally, iβm blogging the full story, with behind-the-scenes details, and a video of the talk.

Whenever I hear about root canal, I think: βA secwet pwan to fight infwation!?β (I hope youβre feeling better soon!) www.youtube.com/watch?v=B_3k...
Another argh: forth -> fourth. Oops. Sure would love to be able to edit posts here!
A screenshot of four overlapping windows in macOS Tahoe. At the top is Safari with the massive window corners that most Apple app have. Second is Google Chrome, which has a slightly smaller corner that I haven't seen other apps use. Then is Outlook with a slightly smaller corner, and finally a Photoshop image window with the smallest corner β but one that's still slightly larger than it was before Tahoe. Red lines denote where the corners end.
I know it's the smallest thing in the world right now, but I continue to be flummoxed by the terribly inconsistent window corner radii in macOS Tahoe. Today's bought of argh was brought on by Chrome (2nd from top) updating to v. 145 and still having a forth radius size I haven't seen elsewhere.

I've seen some similar projects, but IMO this seems to better capture some of the fine-grained detail
Iβve been experiencing existential dread about this for the last few months. More and more of my dev work is better left to a coding agent, and I really donβt love that.
I've never read such an incredibly information-free corporate release. It's honestly kind of impressiveβ¦Β though I would still like to ask a lot of questions of Nitin's t-shirt.
In other news, I've been having good luck with DigitalOcean's App Platform!
