We are just begin to get an inkling of how deeply embedded Peter Mandelson and Tony Blair were/are with the sinister rich. Every time you think you've seen the worst of it, something else emerges.

impeach whether we have the votes or not and then impeach again every day
That's the idea, scare them into compliance. Just like the doctors in anti-abortion states. First, it's a hundred grand, then it's prison, then it's death. The only way to stop it is for average people to take back the government by any means necessary.
"Meet me in the middle" says the dishonest right-winger, and extends his hand. You take a step forwards, he takes a step back. "Meet me in the middle" says the dishonest right-winger and extends his hand.
if gender is so innate why does it need deputized citizens to meticulously enforce it?
There's also the fact that Rowling has been fairly explicit that the money she earns through Harry Potter she's putting into anti-trans lobbying efforts.
There's a difference, IMHO, between an artist with a shitty private life, and an artist using their money to fund regressive social change.
I wasn't intending to turn this into a thread, but it seems to have happened anyway.
It's about the great plague on our lives: the extreme wealth of a tiny number of people.
And what to do about it.
How much more evidence do we need? The ultra-rich and the governments supporting them will destroy everything for the sake of profit, power and pride. Nothing is precious to them - not human life, not the living world - except their own wealth and status. Our survival depends on resisting them.

If you get into a βwho can cut taxes moreβ battle with the GOP, youβre going to lose because they are far more shameless and antagonistic to the idea of living in a functioning society.
Donβt concede to their framing that taxes are nothing but a problem to be solved.
GOP should just replace the elephant with a Swastika. They aren't fooling anyone at this point.

Russia tried this in 2011 - it only lasted until 2014 when they adopted permanent Standard Time citing increased car accidents and poor adolescent mental health.
The US tried this in 1974 and cut it short after they discovered the impact of delayed winter sunrises.
Bets on how long will it last?
Screenshot of text from an email, which says: Friendly reminder that we did not spring forward in Arizona yesterday, we maintain permanent Mountain Standard Time (MST) year-round. The East Coast did spring forward one hour from Eastern Standard Time (EST) to Eastern Daylight Time (EDT). So now instead of being two hours ahead us, you now observe three hours ahead of us. So I can be available either at 5pm EDT (2pm MST) or at 3pm MST (6pm EDT). Please let me know which, thanks!
Itβs that magical time of year again, when Arizonans have to explain to other states their own self-inflected clock confusion. Ditch DST! Restore permanent Standard Time!
Just killed a man's whole family and accidentally installed him as leader of Iran. We created Super Vengeance Boy and are just assuming he'll leave us alone.
Here is a map of Canada and the US showing the ideal time zone boundaries. Most British Columbians would experience optimal health with permanent Pacific Standard Time (UTCβ8), not permanent Pacific Daylight Time (UTCβ7).

I just realized I changed the graphic to reflect "pacific daylight saving time" but forgot to change the abbreviation above it.
Everything about "springing forward" is so disruptive & annoying on so many levels; this part is minor, but still an annoyance.
It should read "PDT" not PST. π€¦π»ββοΈ
