I’ve had Gawr Gura’s #AshAgain song on repeat since release, such a powerful emotional song, hits like a freight train. I remember watching Gura’s debut live at a time of real isolation she brought joy. It’s a bittersweet graduation, I wish her the best!

Chocolate Espresso Martini

Slight modification on the baileys recipe, to include a little Kahlua.

Baileys chocolate 2 oz
Kahlua 1/2 oz
Vodka 1 oz
Espresso 1 oz

Shake with ice, strain into coupe or martini glass, garnish with coffee beans.

Recently I got into mixing cocktails, I’ve been having fun making some great flavours. My favourite ATM I found on a random YouTube video:

Midori illusion:
Midori 2oz
Vodka 1/2 oz
Triple sec 1/2 oz
Lemon juice 1 oz
Pineapple juice 1oz

Shake with ice pour in highball with ice

How are you finding it?

Finished booking my hotels for a trip to Japan I have planned this November.

I’m going to be spending the majority of the trip exploring Kyushu, with 1 night at really night looking onsen in the middle of nowhere.

Getting excited, less than a month to go!

Interestingly I’m starting to see a lot of movement from the #vrc community over to Bluesky. This is great, I can actually start making good use of it now.
