I can see a large number of enemies making the game get clunky, especially when factoring in things like ongoing conditions imposed by both sides, but if everyone had fun, sounds like you made it work!

I’m 100% biased, but paper minis are the perfect option for meatspace Draw Steel. The first encounter in Dark Heart uses 18 monsters! That’s so many guys! Good thing you can print out as many guys as you need!

I want to start releasing more Draw Steel-inspired minis, the challenge will be each “family” of monsters has a TON of options, each with a unique role. The 5E MM has like, 3 zombies.

Hey Draw Steel knowers, in “The Dark Heart of the Wood,” are a Threxyl’s mobility roots bunched up at the base like a crinoid, or along the side, like a centipede.
Also, are their bodies just one vine, or a mess of vines?
