Was für ein Titel! Das wäre wirklich am Puls der Zeit.
Serna hat das zunächst für die Jahre nach der Revolution 1789 entwickelt. Zuletzt hat er das "l'extrême centre" als wiederkehrendes Phänomen der frz. Geschichte bis Macron theoretisiert (s. L'extrême centre ou le poison français). Wäre spannend, diese Geschichte mal mit Graeber in Dialog zu bringen.
Dazu gibt es auch eine interessante französische Debatte geprägt vom Historiker Pierre Serna. Er definiert als "l'extrême centre" Akteur*innen, die sich als Mitte des politischen Spektrums darstellen und gleichzeitig intolerant gegenüber ihren Gegnern sind und auf eine starke Exekutivgewalt setzen.
