Hope you have a good supply of those wipes ready!

This made me smile, love those books. Sorry itβs bad news but glad you are maybe getting some answers now, I hope it helps at least a little (preferably a lot!).
The perks of having a blind cat! Mine went extremely deaf and I finally managed to open a tuna can in peace (did shed a little tear though the first time it happened).
Cool runnings is a better match with the feature wall colour (on my screen anyway), the other just doesnβt seem to go quite as well - maybe just a shade too dark?
That sounds amazing. So glad theyβre working for you.
An interesting read, thank you. (It may be worth removing the AI reply to a prompt for writing the blog post partway through?)
She is just adorable! I love her ear floof. π
1. Do you have a weighted top/blanket that you can have nearby? The gentle pressure can be quite soothing and grounding. Iβm quite tactile so like to have soft things around that I can stim with.
2. Not being unreasonable at all. As others have said having someone you can direct them to may help?
He does it with such confidence and style!
Hope you both feel better quickly
I managed a 10 on this one. π funnily enough I did the long version of this a while back & scored exactly the same as my child - they were later diagnosed autistic. Just donβt think Iβve got the energy to go through the waiting and assessment faff for myself but also feel a fraud without it. π€·π»ββοΈ
He looks like the most relaxed cat ever. So secure and confident in his home.
What a gorgeous little ball of fluff. Those eyes. π
I think you need more powders to make your fluids lumpy and grainy - that way you *know* theyβre doing something. How about creatine, inulin and D-Ribose to start? π
Happy Birthday Maeve. X
This is such a cool idea for a useful way of using AI. Bummer itβs still so unreliable. I hope its memory issues improve for you.
Family and care givers can sign up too though as the healthy controls from reading their βblurbβ.
I understood it to mean that you could still volunteer if you didnβt have a chronic illness so that they had βhealthy controlsβ to compare with the ME or long Covid cohort?
He is so much at home with you and just an adorable fluffball. Love seeing his crazy moments.
Stunning! π
Screensaver type things to watch (with or without sound) - eg underseascapes, fire, aquariums. Keeps my eyes busy whilst my brain can wander/shut down.
Dioralyte - the unflavoured one if you canβt tolerate anything else. It can be better than water (especially if youβre pots-y) and gives you a bit of an energy boost with the sugar. Helps me be able to tolerate small amounts of food later.
He is adorable and sooooo flluuuffffffyyyy!! Glad to see he is treating his offerings with the appropriate amount of cat disdain. Must be feeling right at home. π
Depends on if you were eating all those amazingly aromatic food in an enclosed space on a hot day??? Looks very tasty though. π
Iβm so sorry to hear youβre still having problems. Dr Claire Taylor is well known on Twitter for her private work & is very knowledgable about orthostatic intolerance/POTs/dysautonomia. There is a NHs tertiary dysautonomia clinic but itβs in London so I donβt know if Scottish NHS would refer there.
Iβm still having to tell them that Iβm not diabetic because 18 years ago(!!!) I was taking a diabetic drug off label for a different condition and a consultant assumed I was diabetic from my list of drugs I was taking. I still havenβt managed to get it scrubbed from everywhere. ππ€¬
I love this comic so much and that tattoo is just perfect.
Me too! The seed ticks are so small a few have got past my defences. Didnβt realise how ill I really felt until I started antibiotics it really is unpleasant.
I donβt go anywhere near there now without a set of tick hooks. Got one out of me that could only have been there for a few hours and still got the rash 3 weeks later. π
In England if you can find a willing consultant or GP (I knowβ¦..hens teeth etc etc) then they can write a βpatient specific directiveβ saying you should get the Covid vaccination. Our wonderful consultant has just done that but itβs taken us a few years to find out about it. ππ
