The answer is yes. Three serious bites in my life.
The truth is when you dedicate your life to working with animals, especially a lot of them, it’s not a matter of if… it’s when.

As we continue searching for him, I’m going to return to posting my normal videos to spread as much light and positivity as possible. As sad and hurt as I feel, I truly believe that somehow, in some way, good will come from this.

I love my him so much. I love all of my dogs so much. And loving this many animals this deeply almost feels like signing up for torture. With this many dogs,

I don’t have any updates on Sherman.
It’s been a week now. And with every day that passes without knowing what’s happened to him or where he is, the uncertainty hurts a little more.
If I’m being honest… sometimes I catch myself not thinking about Sherman, but wondering when I’ll feel normal again.

I don’t have any updates regarding Sherman. It hurts. It hurts a lot. I will not give up hope and continue to look for him while continuing to show up for my sanctuary every day.
I appreciate you very much. If anyone has any information regarding Sherman, please let us know. We miss him terribly.

this should never be about anything other than the safety of a dog.
Sherman has epilepsy and is vulnerable to seizures when under stress. He needs calm. He needs safety. He needs to come home.

While Sherman was being fostered by one of our team members, he unfortunately escaped from their fully fenced yard. We are actively searching for him and doing everything we can to bring him home safely.

The dogs have more energy when the sun is out. They slow down when the clouds roll in.
