Genuine question, since I am an uninformed civilian: Why does any of that mean Ukraine shouldn't have Taurus? It won't win the war for them, no individual weapon will, but all weapons can make some difference so we should give them everything. And surely all weapons can make more of a difference>

As I understand it most of their capacity is still being used for refurbishment. I'm no expert, but that tracks with the storage numbers. If you look at the graphics about 1 min in to the video I was talking about (youtu.be/wCeAW_KWcWQ?...) over 400 T-72s and perhaps 1000 total disappeared in 2025.
