It is. Tbh, I've worked around this guy for a while, I was his first choice, he pursued me. I had worked SO HARD for this company for so long to now be in the (pretty significant) position I'm in feels correct.

Low key few weeks: my dog got sick (but is better and happy as ever -- see pup pic), my new job is a lot but good, got away to the mountains before the blizzard, then wrecked my back shovelling when I got back. I got to be snowed in with my guys, and now it's good to be back on it.
