so my current guess is that the headroom for squeezing more dollars out of Claude Code is vast, and the long term value of predictable revenue from extremely loyal users is a big deal for the health of the business

one of the underrated means Anthropic has for increasing margins in Claude Code:
get the user to "done" faster, not just because inference is more efficient
but because PLANNING is more efficient, execution is more successful. this is simple ongoing R&D. keep finding ways to shave wasted cycles
