Something I'm working on for the next @skeetsapp.com and @flashes.blue releases: on-device batch translations. Translate your entire timeline to your natural language. Suddenly you can communicate with people whose language you don't speak.
OFC you can exclude languages you actually do speak :)
Do you still see them in your "Following" timeline or in any of your feeds? Because those settings are de-coupled...there is a specific set of handles in the settings screen for feeds and lists.

• “Hide repeating post content in timeline” now applies correctly.
• Replies now respect the selected language setting.

Skeets 1.27.1 update is live.
What’s new:
• Full app localization for Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Polish, and Italian.
Bug fixes
• Japanese keyboard no longer auto-accepts the first character.
It's caching images and thumbnails. This memory will be cleared automatically once the device comes under memory pressure.
Skeets had muted words before Bluesky and offers more options. It’s a privacy-first client which is why bookmarks and muted words are stored encrypted in iCloud instead of on the Bluesky server.
It’s probably related to iOS 18 then. Will need to investigate.
