In this sticker, a golden dagger is in its sheath, the design gold and rainbow. The various colors of the rainbow are seen throughout, with a piece of the progress pride flag in the middle. It's surrounded by flowers and has a blue and rainbow shape behind it to form the sticker.

With colors based on the progress pride flag, this colorful sticker includes significant flowers like chamomile representing courage in adversity, heather for luck and protection, and hawthorn for hope.

In this sticker, a medieval mace is colored with the trandsflag colors (light pink, white, and light blue). Flowers grow around the handle, and there's a blue and pink shape in the background to form the actual sticker.

Representing the trans flag, this mace design includes hellebore to represent overcoming scandal and slander, and dogwood to signify that love will always overcome adversity. 💕

In this last sticker, a knight's helmet has purple details and a spade-shape decal on it, along with a unicorn head on the top. The colors of the helmet with the purple details form the colors of the asexual flag. A small white flower grows from the open eye slit.

And lastly, this asexual flag design includes edelweiss, standing for courage (something we all need to be our truest selves!).

A mock stamp set of two lovers, a butch with short brown hair and a trans woman with longer grey hair, each in their own individual stamps but reaching out to touch each other across the gap.

Overall, the broken borders show how queer people have always pushed the boundaries of the world around them. The colors blend purple and the lesbian and gay flags, faded to evoke a sense of nostalgia.

(These adorable characters are two lovers: a butch and a trans woman, named H. and Imogene!)

Language is symbolic too. The terms "Tribade" and "Uranian" are now-outdated terms for lesbians and homosexuals. (Perfect for a queer history zine!)

All of these flower stickers are queer symbols.

Violets have symbolized lesbian love for thousands of years. Green carnations were a gay gesture and symbol of resistance. Lavender is symbol of the queer empowerment from 1969 and on. Pansies (once a slur) reclaimed as a symbol of pride and beauty.

This stamp nods to queerness in the 1800s: The cup of "Ladies of Llangollen," Oscar Wilde's carnation, and a book on whalers. 

"Dividit lux et se" ("Daylight divides them and...") is the last verse of an incomplete sapphic love poem found in Pompeii. Lesbian love, since time immemorial.

being bisexual myself I always weight what I say where bc it did lead to some unpleasant consequences in the past. generally, I'm out, but even that depends on context & safety
