They are - half-aunt and half-niece. Olive's father Henry was also father of Mabel's mother, Izzy.
Happy birthday to Mabel. Despite her occasional worries about the world, she would follow you to the ends of it. Which she proved again a couple of days ago.
Forgot to post this here on Olive's 12th birthday last week. Am constantly trying - and failing - to be more dog in my outlook.
