Right now my bottleneck is core count rather than clock speed. I wouldn’t be surprised if Contabo was slower per-core, it with double the cores, im sure it would make up for it.
Moved from Hetzner to Contabo after the Hetzner price hike. Priced a VPS at the same cost, in the same region as the Hetzner one. The Contabo VPS has 2x the core count, 2.5x the SSD space, 3x the RAM, unlimited traffic, and a ham sandwich. I guess they spent their control panel money on servers.
Contabo’s new Control Panel is so bad that using a Tor circuit ending in Germany is faster than just opening the link… somehow.
