I had such a great experience performing at the Red Room. This was my first ever performance and I couldnβt have asked for a warmer and more welcoming crowd.

A DAW is great. But interface is crucial. With max, you can make your own. π»

As for Elektron, I still have the core collection and I still use them sometimes but again, it sort of comes back to this thing of a closed system. Why should I limit myself to 3 Ifos when I can have 3000?
Not sure! I've gotten out of eurorack completely. I find the flexibility of something like VCV rack to be more interesting then a closed systems with hardware. I'd also add that for the most part, the way l used eurorack, it was entirely digital. My last eurorack system was essentially an

Itβs funny actually. Playing with logic gates in eurorack is actually where I realized βoh, if you have on/off logic you can sorta doing anythingβ¦.Ohβ¦ohhhhh.β Itβs still breaks my brain when I think about it.
Other things like effects, master effects, filters, ect. From there just add drums to taste! :) hope this helps!
Whether this envelope with get triggered again or will it trigger another one of these patches that would be set up the same, but with some different setting and different sounds. The interesting stuff happens when you start using all of the envelopes, VCAβs, LFOs for this main idea to modulate
Trigger a plucking sound. The envelope is also sent to the speed of the lfo, the pitch of the pluck (or whatever sound) ect. End of cycle of the envelope triggers a random which randomizes the attack decay of the main envelope. The EOC also goes to a Bernoulli gate. So there is a coin toss between
The main thing the patch is based around is a triggered envelope being sent to a comparator. The gate is high if the envelope is happening, so no matter how slow the attack, or how long the release, we get a high gate. This gate is used to open a vca that allow a square wave to pass through and

Yup! And youβll almost always get different results! Itβs time well spent I think
The main idea in this new tutorial video is setting up lots of modulation BEFORE adding any sound. This is a great way to do things because it allows you to really quickly assign things to the macros and just experiment.

New Beta of a new M4L visualizer!

Too much #maxforlive goodness at the moment -- MIDI bounce saves a ton of work and lost material by recording generative patches and effects with one click. This gamepad controller tool is a study in precise mapping. And Iftah did also make a new acid synth...
Thank you!

This is a new little M4L Jitter visualizer I am working on called Confetti. The idea behind it is to add it a track, then put a Drum Rack after it (obviously you don't have to use a drum rack). Then, when you play the drum rack notes, little shapes appear.
Learn how to set up dynamic glitch effects in Ableton Live using drum racks, and envelopes for Triggered glitch effects. This tutorial shows you how to set up randomized pitch shifting, expression control modulation, and return track routing for cool glitch textures.
