I don't think it's very unreasonable to provide more than a week's notice before 40x'ing our plan prices.

might as well throw my hat into the ring for the #KofiPromoteChallenge

Apple is appealing against the UKβs backdoor encryption order. The company has filed an appeal with the Investigatory Powers Tribunal, which deals with complaints about the UK intelligence services and authorities www.theverge.com/news/623977/...
welp, looks like you were right :/

apologies for getting political on the TL, but www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jehv... is really interesting
Potentially, yes, but realistically I don't see them doing so - IMO it's more likely that Apple protests against the bill and threatens to leave the UK, then the bill gets quietly dropped
The UK wants *global* access to people's data
I suppose it's a matter of preference? I slightly prefer the new design if anything :P
i mean i am an android user but apart from the frosted glass backgrounds everywhere it doesn't seem too bad lol

Just wrote a new blog post on how to generate OG images for @astro.build (like the one below)!
skyfall.dev/posts/astro-...
from my experience you need to aggressively weed out those posts with muted words and the "show less like this" button
(by "thing", I mean the issues w/ connecting to a local websocket)
well tbf CORS is meant to prevent this sort of thing
I would love support for running Coolify on systems where you can't get root access; I use a shared host for a lot of my stuff and I would love to run Coolify
Really good mini-essay I found, think it's worth sharing here :)

The stars bit is definitely not very accurate (no way in hell I got 180 stars lol) but it's definitely a lot nicer than the githubunwrapped this year
I have PTSD from seeing this
yeah it was kinda disappointing in terms of features, but it did improve my battery life by quite a bit (pixel 6)
Woah, was just thinking of making a project with Zero, tyvm for this!

also side note: mozilla add-ons is *way* nicer to publish to than chrome web store - approvals in under an hour, more freedom over your page, nicer UI, no fees...
For the tech stack, I used wxt.dev, @svelte.dev, and tailwind!
Extension dev is definitely a bit more painful than normal webdev - I have to basically do RPC from a "main world" script (what runs in a Figma tab) to an "isolated world" content script to a background script to bypass CORS :/
I built a Wakatime extension for Figma over the last two days!
addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefo... (still waiting on the chrome web store for chrome :/)

Other than that though, it's really cool!
It's a bit of a pain unfortunately - I wrote a Rust CF Worker and managed to run into two year old issues with the built in fetch and file sizes
yeah definitely! (and _maybe_ custom GPTs?)
claude would probably have a lot more market share if they actually let you use claude sonnet and have more than 5 messages/day on the free plan
Svelte dropped this update the day after I ran into an issue with stores :D
Svelte I love you :D
