The Shapiro Administration today announced that Visual Solutions Group in Lancaster received a $2 million low-interest loan from the Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) to help purchase the site they previously leased in East Hempfield.

I'm so grateful for our first responders and the people who keep our fire companies running! It was an honor to recognize some of them with Senate citations at the Lincoln Fire Company Banquet this weekend.
I love seeing students get hands-on experience in the trades. I recently visited Lancaster County Career and Technology Centerโs Mount Joy campus and was impressed by the number and quality of programs they were offering.

This weekend, I attended the NAACP Lancaster's rescheduled Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration Service and Celebration at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. It was a powerful reminder of the responsibility we have as a community to speak truth and pursue justice for our neighbors.

As someone who grew up farming, I love to see the next generation take an interest in agriculture through Future Farmers of America. During the Farm Show, I got to chat with Nate Huber about his leadership in expanding agriculture education through the Manheim FFA.
REMINDER: Producers should report sick birds or unexplained deaths to 717-772-2852. Anyone encountering sick or dead wild birds should contact the Pennsylvania Game Commission at 1-833-PGC-WILD. Producers may also request free Wildlife Biosecurity Assessments through USDA resources.

Iโm pleased to announce that today the State Agriculture Land Preservation Board voted to preserve two farms in my district. These were two of 25 farms statewide that were approved for preservation, with a grand total of 1,950 acres of farmland saved. #saveourfarms #protectedforever #longlivelocal
