Like they lay that shit out in exact detail, like the two-shulk dream, various lines shulk has about having another voice inside him, the way the monado rejects certain people.
if you just take all of that as literally as possible and treat it like important clues you can guess the twist outright.
the xenoblade 1 plot twist might be the single most heavy-handedly foreshadowed thing in all of gaming history and it's still really cleverly done, but when you look back on it it's hard to pretend like anyone with a brain (like pat) couldn't have put it together when the game was telling it to you

What was up with this Dracula Kid in Super Mario Land 2? He summons Bats by flipping you off but then they don't even go after you, They just fly up and leave. They're more of a side effect to flipping you off than anything else. He probably can't control it, it's just an involuntary Dracula thing
