It is horriying to think that an entire generation is coming of age knowing nothing but Donald Trump and the nastiness that is our political culture. I shutter to think about what the implications of this will be for an already weakened democracy.

Right now the Trump message on Iran is dominating. The Democrats are awol and when they speak up it is very weak. The only reason the war is a no sell is the public, not the Dems.

For most people, stable employment is disappearing and being replaced by precarious, low-paid work. Stability is a thing of the past now. Over 2 billion workers worldwide have no job security or benefits.

The video of a United States Senator joining the violent removal of U.S. marine from a hearing and hideously breaking his arm in a door is an example of what has been unleashed in this country. They’re tapping in to get in on the violence.
And then he bragged about it on X later.

They are torturing and killing people in our concentration camps, and I wish more people were actively bothered by that
