Oh I've just twigged the record is ยฃ7, that is an unbelievable bargain!! Their second hand CDs are going for nearly that much. Was toying with getting their 2nd album (cd) for ยฃ5.50 last night, but I don't like it nearly as much as their debut.
Well worth it ๐
It's one of those albums I crack out maybe once or twice a year and absolutely adore it every time ๐
It is, yeah! ยฃ5 entry all the Hooch you can drink kinda memories ๐
Love that tune (why i got gifted the album) ๐
Even if I'd gone with this yesterday ๐
๐
I shall endeavour to choose something every day that I think you'll like and that you may not have heard ๐
It's one of the founding member of Band of Horses that started Grand Archives ... think he left BoH after they released their first album (or 2).
Glad you liked it, the whole album is in the same vein ๐
Excuse the blaring typo! Couch not Coach!!!

Day 7 - A song by a band whose name starts with G
Torn Blue Foam Coach
(Grand Archives - The Grand Archives)
Such a gorgeous album, full of lush & breezy melodies. It's a Summer staple in these parts. This song, the album opener, never fails to bring a smile to my face!
One of my favourite albums from last year this, absolutely love it. I play it often!
Somewhat ambiguous but why not ๐
Gorillaz - Monkey Kong - ?
Marmozets?
I hope you'll be joining me in some A appreciation this weekend ๐
(No arguing where that belongs on the shelves!)
Just seen that A have a new song out today!!!! First new music in 20 years! Massive blast from the past.
Will have to crack out Hi-Fi Serious this weekend to celebrate.
Thanks! ๐
Never heard of that, sounds amazing!
Making paper aeroplanes is one of those things I've always been utterly shit at. Mine would probably struggle to make it past the row infront ๐
I'll give it a spin. When I took the photo I saw there was a 'radio edit' and also a 'short radio edit' ... proper cop out B-sides ๐
I saw he was touring, enjoy! ๐
He's playing Nottingham too and I've been toying with getting a ticket.
Fear of Pop is very different from Ben Folds Five. A bit like The Postal Service is different from Death Cab For Cutie ..
Spaceman was awesome ๐
Unless it's a bone fide banger, I just know we'll (generally) do pretty badly. Hopefully I'm proven wrong ๐
Still, me & the kids will watch it all, it's become a yearly 'thing'!
Try Drug Church then ... they supported them on their European tour recently. More punky than Deftones but I'm a big fan ๐
I'm guessing Deftones?

Friday (in the office by myself whilst they test the fire alarms) edition
Been the first Friday this year I've struggled to find anything new to listen to ๐

Day 6 - A song by a band/artist beginning with F
In Love
(Fear of Pop - Volume 1)
Ben Folds side project, this song including unmistakable guest vocals / spoken word meditation, from the one and only William Shatner. A lounge-pop masterpiece ๐
