Not hating the "no sacred cows" assessment from the Nevada Current. We have to be willing to have hard conversations if we're going to raise the revenues our state needs to support everyday Nevadans.

This morning I unveiled my Economic Development Plan, which focuses on raising revenues and making it easier to live, work and thrive for everyday Nevadans. For folks who've been asking for more details, these 👏🏻 are 👏🏻 the 👏🏻 details: alexisfornevada.com/economic-dev...
I also believe that Nevada should have open primaries for non-partisans, but I’ve met many who are switching to Democrat for this primary!
We do NOT have to settle for politics as usual in Nevada.
If you’re fed up, too, this is the year to donate, volunteer and get out the vote for change candidates.
And if you can't come in person, we're planning a special virtual event later that day. More to come.
I've been talking to small business across Nevada and one question is always the same: Why does Elon Musk get huge tax breaks when we're struggling? This Wednesday I'm sharing details of my plan to help small biz owners and other everyday Nevadans. Event details here: buff.ly/pt7bFh7
It’s time Nevada had its first female governor. My opponents want to pretend I don’t exist, but I’m out here doing the work like every woman who has ever been in charge of the group project. Happy Women’s History Month 👏🏻
This is why I say -- if you are not talking about revenues as a candidate for governor in this state, it means you will continue to have to cut and cut and cut. This is unacceptable. We deserve better than leaving local governments to pick up the pieces.
But he's not doing anything with it. He's going to let our communities struggle because he knows that our state government is in such trouble financially that they have to hold on to every penny.
Tomorrow, almost 50,000 Nevadans will lose their SNAP benefits. These are kids aging out of foster care, seniors, veterans. In last year's special session, the legislature authorized the governor to ask for funding to help people in need, just for instances like this through SB3.

But unless they start talking about how they're going to pay for it, it just means broken promises or cuts to more essential services.

Join me on March 4th, 9AM, at Dona Maria Tamales in Las Vegas. I can't wait to tell you how I'm going to put Nevadans first.
Next week I'm going to be introducing my plans for Nevada. What I will do on day one as your governor and how I'm going to pay for it.
My opponents love to talk a big game about how they're going to make your lives better.
Next week! Please join me at a special supporter's town hall to hear more details about my solutions-driven policy agenda and how I plan to put Nevadans first.
Gov. Lombardo has taken every opportunity to crush Nevadans’ dreams, not boost them. We have to flip this state in November. I can get it done.
And if you're an independent or even a Republican (!!) and want to support me, you're going to have to make the switch at least for the primary. You won't have to stay a Dem! You can switch back after.
P.S. I am not a fan of closed primaries 🫤
Nevada has closed primaries. What this means is that if you want to vote in the upcoming Democratic primary, you MUST be registered as a Dem. If you're excited about my campaign and want to see me move past the primary to take on Joe Lombardo in the general, you gotta check that registration.
Our healthcare workers do a lot of heavy lifting to support our most vulnerable communities, and they deserve to have the resources and support they need to provide the highest level of care to each and every patient.
I support the nurses at Saint Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Reno who are going on strike today to improve their contract and ensure management puts patients over profits.
I am the only candidate offering to break the cycle of the status quo offered by Ford and Lombardo by putting Nevadans first.
I believe in not only meeting the minimum standards of the law but avoiding any appearance of impropriety. Regardless of outcome, this demonstrates the dangers of nominating a weak candidate to take on Lombardo.
Here is my response in full --> One of the reasons why I am running for governor is because I have the best chance of beating the ethically challenged Lombardo. Elected officials face both fair and unfair criticisms and Attorney General Ford deserves the right to defend himself.
His call to “keep hope alive" challenged all of us to believe in what's possible and to do the work to get there.
My deepest condolences to the Jackson family.
Today we lost a giant. Rev. Jesse Jackson dedicated his life to the belief that America's promise of equality belongs to everyone, and he spent decades fighting to make that promise real.

Nevadans need a candidate who believes in change, not the status quo. Dems need a candidate who can beat Lombardo by creating excitement for this change. I believe that I am that candidate.
They are happy with how big business is thriving here. We know Republicans are desperate to win this election, and they're going to spend all the money they can to try to convince you that your life is GREAT. But we know it's NOT GREAT.
