Excited to share “Poisoned Wells,” which presents the largest point-in-time study of website blocking in India to date. I tested the blocking of 294 million apex domains across six Indian ISPs, sending 1.76 billion DNS queries in total.

Anyone on my timeline looking to buy tickets for FOSS Backstage? The group ticket is €50 cheaper, but you need to buy 3 of them.
hi frens. i've been making a very silly little bookmarking app for a few weeks now. the play store apparently now requires *twelve* active (closed) testers for two weeks before i'm allowed to push this dumb little thing to prod.
if you're willing to install it on an android device, please email me.
Same. I remember the original GitHub Issues pitch where they showcased the huge list of fields on Jira and Redmine to compare.
Now GitHub is the same. Wish they had a minimal mode to turn off “issue links, milestones, assignees, reviewers, projects”.
I’ve been having similar thoughts on that. Realising that for me, a public issue tracker is a bigger selling point. More of the community contributes via bug reports and feature discussions than actual code. Throw code over the wall, but give us something* to let public feedback happen.
Might port this to RSS-Bridge
The box said Knob, but there isn’t one?
A glitched Duolingo chess lesson with the Rook being able to move weirdly.
Glitched Duolingo chess lesson with the Queen unable to move at a square in the line with the rook.
A glitched Duolingo chess lesson showing an arrow on the rook to move it like a Knight but 3,1 instead of 2,1.
Duolingo Chess lesson is glitching for me. (Reproducible - Section 5, Unit 10, Mini Match)

Dependabot just added support for uv, OpenTofu, Bazel, and Julia.
uv dependabot support was one of my last drawbacks with uv - I'd run pip compile in uv to use requirements.txt mainly for dependabot. No more!
So many HN posts these days with the perfect kernel of curiosity and surprise, but clearly padded with LLMs to become a fluffy AI-slop. I'd rather read your prompt than this.
Ended up disabling Lockdown mode (+26.2 upgrade) to get back some performance.

What's sad is that the journalists are still not asking the right questions.
Just got done with the last sadservers.com/advent challenge. Learnt a few things along the way, cheated my way with a few.
But overall good fun!
Are you on iOS 26? I did the same, but upgraded to 26 at the same time, and lags get annoying every now and then.
New first for endoflife.date: We are getting an official PR (from Broadcom employees) *BEFORE* the actual announcement is even made upstream for a VMWare product.
Confused if we should merge coz the PR is the primary source now.
