Oh wow. Guy. I am so, so sorry.
I cannot agree with all of this more.
I haven't read any of his others, which is something I need to rectify.
Dang. That really does sound awesome.
Now that would be fun.
π
Oooo. That's a fantastic book. I wish I could read it again for the first time. Enjoy!

π Congratulations, Heather!! π
Ours goes from 3 hours of time left in the cycle to 1 hour left in the cycle to 2 hours to 15 minutes... all in the space of a minute or two. π€·
Could we *please* bring back "dumb" machines.
I looked at that as well and it's 100 percent just trusting whatever whoever tells them? I mean... I get that it's hard to verify, but seems like me just saying that without an "official seal" achieves the same thing.
This is like all the guys who say "as a man with daughters" when there's some awful thing that happens to a woman, as though they couldn't possibly care about such a thing if they didn't have children who could be affected.
This ish is *so depressing.*
This was a fun visual "where is it, where is it?!" puzzle! (And ooooo. The light through those leaves. Pretty.)
Alas, that was taken away a looooong time ago!
I does give that sort of red, apocalyptic aura to everything. Which, you know... appropriate.
You got me alllll excited over here, until I realized this is probably not the case for those of us alumni. <sigh>
We've got dust from the Sahara clouding everything up over here.
<gasp> YES. WANT.
Now I *really* have to see this!
Never even heard of it! Will absolutely check it out. Thanks for the recommendation!
Actually, you know, so would I. And I can't tell you the last time I paid to see a 007 film. Good choice.
It's on my list, but I haven't read it yet. Will be very interested to hear what you think!
I'm ready for a little more sunshine and outdoors time and social activity, aren't you?
π
I had *never* thought of this before. I pronounce it GARE-ee. Close to your preferred way, I think? GEAR-ee is, well, that's atrocious.
I actually really like the name Gary! Gary, to me, is a friendly name. A sort of comforting soul. Who wouldn't like a Gary, just based on the name?
Now that would be interesting!!
