I recently started playing Love and Deepspace.
I was gonna play one more chapter before I went to bed.
Unfortunately for me, that chapter was Chapter 4-3
Itβs totally fine to express your disliking of something. But maybe itβs a little rude to leave passive aggressive comments on posts of people who do like said thing.
This was on my mind because I saw a number of comments from some I had followed. They were commenting on posts of fans being excited about something, and being passive aggressive towards the OPs just because they like a thing they donβt.
And it was all over innocent stuff
I find that it is seemingly more βokayβ to be an asshole to fans of something if that something is popular. Because itβs under the guise of it being βoverhypedβ.
You can have your feelings about fans of said thing, but why would you go out of your way to be a dick when they arenβt bothering you?
I never understood why people can be so demeaning towards others who like a harmless thing they themselves donβt like.
Itβs fine to not like something, but to go out of your way to bring someoneβs moral down just because they like the thing that you donβt? Why?
Iβll be okay! Iβve been getting a lot of support. It will be a journey, but at least I have a proper diagnosis.
Hopefully, this year is the year of rest for the both of us ππΌ
The treatment is nothing. It is something I will have for life. Just life style changes to lessen the pain going forward.
Tendinosis, thatβs what I have
It is a chronic condition
The tendons that run from my hip to my knee are pretty badly damaged. Enough that it may be permanent. There will be times where it feels fine for a while, but it will come back later
We will see each other again!! Please rest in the meantime ππΌ
Like, what do you mean Iβm responsible for making content of my OCs?
For a self-proclaimed OC artist. I donβt draw my OCs that much
I just have them spinning in my head like a rotisserie chicken
Praying for Mihono Bourbon in her cute as hell valentines day outfit to come home for you
She hasn't come home for me as well π
don't worry, be happy :D

There are lots of bad cons out there that need this kind of energy. But the amount of fire Kumoricon is getting for a $5 application fee feels... disproportional
Isn't Kumoricon a non-profit con?? Legally, they have to put that money back into the con π
If I had to jury 1000 applications, I think my brain would turn to mush after 100. You also have to check for AI and tracing for all of them.
Iβm not even surprised that cons are moving towards applications fees. Itβs common in other spaces. And with cons getting thousands of applications, itβs not surprising that cons are struggling with it.
Entry fees aren't even a new thing π
