I won't lie. I burn the midnight oil to squeak in some game time. Gotta get my fighting games and RPGs in!

I'll keep this brief, but if you have experience in those areas and are looking to work on an animated project with a number of other talented artists - check out more details below:
βDon't write or draw for money. Do it because you love it...β I mean, yeah. Obviously we enjoy doing it, otherwise we wouldn't BE doing. That said, it'd be cool being paid and supported enough to simply live as creatives, and in turn, have the freedom to create wild new things without restraint.
Happy Birthday Dave!

First TTRPG I played that wasn't D&D?
Star Wars D6! I'm still GMing my first campaign in the system, and we're well over a year and some change in. My players love it and I love it.
The versatility, speed and ease of understanding for my players (and myself) is an absolute blast!
So siiiiick looking! The visual flair is hitting in all the right ways.

Weβve got a beautiful animated trailer to announce our 1.0 release date. And weβre looking for a gaming site or YouTube channel to feature it. Anyone interested? π
Wow. This is wicked looking!
if it seems like affirmative action for abusers, losers, and hacks who canβt compete on merit, thatβs b/c it is
This looks so dope!
This is starting to get like universal basic income where every single objective study shows the same result but the people who don't like that result go "uh, well there's just really no way to know"
Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeareβs Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again.

a manga panel from berserk. A small two-legged astral creature with a confused face is standing in the middle of a cave, alone, and looks to have zero thoughts going on in its head.
The image is from the European Space Agency. It is listed as the LH 95 star forming region of the Large Magellanic Cloud. The image was taken using the Hubble Space Telescope. There are many stars with a blue background and everything looks super bright and inspired. There's an image of cartoon gandalf holding his arms out, holding his staff in one hand as electrical jolts of magic shoot out.
I'm forever pinballing between these two creative states of mind:
Man... that Fallout show rules.
A boy in a red outfit sits on a stone floor to the left in a dark ruin. To his right a large crimson dragon stands, facing him.
A red dragon flies through a mountainous corridor in the foreground while several bird-like creatures fly in the distance. Menus overlay the action, showing various stats and instructions.
A save game interface with a fossilized dragon embedded in a bone-like wall in the background.
A descriptive log on an ancient civilization's interface. The text reads: "Regulation of Imperial Troops. Operations in the Frontier. 1/3. The uncivilized people of the frontier fear the ancient machines, and subject them to their idiotic beliefs. Our duty is to locate the buried finds, and return them to the rightful heir, his highness."
To help soothe my mind I've also been returning to a timeless classic: Panzer Dragoon Saga.
What a masterpiece. Planning to see this fresh play through to the end.
Ahti the Janitor stands with his body covered in dark shadows from the shoulder up, his head turned to the side with a glint of light visible in his eye. "You are here about the job," he says in subtitles.
Jesse Faden fights to hold the Service Weapon in an all-white void.
A wide shot of Central Executive in CONTROL, with a silhouetted body arched and floating in the center of the image. To the right, an enormous inverted black pyramid reaches down from the ceiling, nearly touching the floor. In the distance a variety of Federal Bureau of Control agents are seen milling about and talking.
Returning to the Director's seat with CONTROL.
I've gotta get ready for the sequel because I am beyond excited.
Coming back to this game after recently finishing Alan Wake 2 has been nothing short of inspiring.
What a crazy, awesome ride these games are.
A vast lake on a sunny day with a mostly clear blue sky overhead and distant forested land visible across the horizon.
I love taking photos with lots of sprawling blue sky.
Thanks!
I have been blissfully lost in the breathtaking spiral of mysteries that is Alan Wake 2 recently.
@samlakewrites.bsky.social and the crew at Remedy are absolute masters.
